I've never seen the new Tyranids win a battle report on DakkaDakka......

Admittedly that only amounts to 3 reports, but still....

1 was Tyranids versus Space Wolves, and was just a normal anihilation battle. In all honesty, though, I didn't like the Nid army list-it had the same units copy-and-pasted (2 identical Hive Tyrants!) and for some reason the Wolves had more units.

The other 2 were Seize Ground missions, 1 against Imperial Guard, 1 against Cheese-sorry, Space Marines. In all honesty, Gribblies aren't the best objective-snafflers.

The new Codex is brilliant (Lictors are finally truly terrifying opponents-and only 65 points a model) so I don't know what's happening.

Is it just that I haven't read enough battle reports, and that Tyranids are regular game-winners? Or are my fears justified?
