Well I got it like last week, and offcourse, being the achievement hungry fiend that I am, I started on primarch. Now I'm stuck on that stupid angel forge last mission >_<

What's the safest way to kill idranel? She just wrecks my squads in 1 shot every time.

Level up cyrus, he was the only reason i beat primarch most of the time.
Get the ability in his will tree that he can use abilities without detection, then combine that with demo charges and he can solo missions.

Also tarkus + termi armor + heavy flamer is INCREDIBLE against nids and orks, works against eldar too just not as beastly.

NMD hits the nail on the head.

Cyrus and Tarkus are by far the most useful units in the game. Cyrus with Remote charges with that ability is awesome. Add in a Sniper Rifle, and High Powered Shot just tears through almost anything.

One thing I've meant to try is, if you get Tarkus' ability to use grenades with energy and you pop him in Termie armour, can you get cyclone missiles with energy instead...

Sadly no :(

And you cant use grenades in termi armor, so that was a sad trade-off but that heavy flamer is just too good against nids and orks to pass up

Pretty sure Avitus gets a skill in his will try to use cyclone missles on energy though
