Does anyone have any advice on 1000 point Marine lists/tactics that would be good against Daemons? I've never played against Daemons, so it should be good. Thanks for the help.
1. Run a libby with Null Zone. Leave him in a rhino with EA.
2. PFist every sgt. and have Flamers for volume fire, as that first round has the daemons DSing in clumps.
3. SternGuard perhaps, for their 'poison' rounds against high T targets.
4. Got 2 or 3 rhinos?

I guess that playing 1000 points is not 'massive' enough for SM against Daemon matches....
But I think that Sternguard Veteran will do a lot of goodness with their poisoned Hellfire Rounds. Heavy Bolters should be used too, because Daemons usually have a large numbers of models.
Give inquisitor psycannon and power armor. Now he instant kills most of the codex has to offer and puts some hurt down on monstrous creatures. He won't want to deepstrike next to you anymore!
