I've gotten more into it, just in time for it to die. Anyone else here playing it?

Ouch. On the bright side, it's now easy to acquire opposing sides so you won't have to convince your friends to buy in.

I wasn't particularly interested in the game, but I scooped up about 30 of the figures to use in post-apoc gaming like Flying Lead, Combat Zone or Wastelands. It's really a great source of generic sci-fi figs.

That's pretty much my plan, I got some buddies together to refight Hoth and it worked well. Even if I didn't have an AT-AT and my Imperials got cut down.

Vader killed Luke and Han but when down to Chewie, much fun.

I'm a little nonplussed that SW has no current RPG or miniatures lines despite having a second season TV series.

Yep but the AT-AT was a limited release now OOP and going for $100+ on ebay. I do have some AT-STs though.

One Eyed Jacques in Richmond has (or had, as of last weekend) a table full of SW mini singles--a going OOP sale, I guess? If there's anything special you're looking for, let me know and I'll check it out. Are you coming to DakkaConPhilly?

As for stuff, I'm not close to 400 SW minis so I think not. THe 50% off sale at Target has not been kind to my vows of restraint.

Yeah, as KK said, it was a limited release... I have 5, tucked away for the big Hoth battle that will happen, you know, one day...

We still play it pretty regularly around here, and I'm slowly fleshing out what I'm missing from the range through eBay or stores clearing out their booster cases.

There are rumours that someone has picked up the license, but either has some sort of time constraint on when they can announce it, or is waiting until they have a game ready to launch.

No idea whether it will be in any way compatible with the WotC range, but unless they've bought the CMG game entire from WotC, I would doubt it.
