Awhile ago I was getting list advice from this forum and someone asked me to post some pics (particularly of my converted Abbadon) so here we go. The army isn't complete, I need some rhinos, and to finish my Bezerker squad (see my other post of my converted Bezerkers)

This squad is pretty lighting claw heavy, with some other weapons to mix it up. And I tried to make the squad have multiple gods represented.

This is my chosen squad, which is a hammer/suicide squad. (I actually have 2 of these, one with all flamers and one with meltas, although the melta squad is pretty plain, so I didnt take any pics)

Last but not least, the sorcerer. I really like this conversion.




I know theres alot I could do in painting, but I like this army because it is easy and fast to paint, I do a black spraypaint basecoat, drybrush of codex grey, they a badab black wash. (I also have a csm squad, but its nothing special and I figured I have enough pictures)

well, I like the conversions...but your army is a bit too... what will I say...Black?
It lacks some color in it. especially the first terminator.

For a VERY simple paint scheme it looks good. Wish you would have done a different head on Abaddon as i hate topknots but not everyone does.
Question though where exactly did you find the chain the Sorcerer has on the cold one? I have been having a hell of a time finding that fine a chain

Love your work I'm always a fan of simple clean paint schemes and Abbadon looks great my only criticism is the cold one looks a bit small with a marine on it.

On another note lookin good, love the dark, stone-like armour, however if you picked out some details, e.g. the eyes on the helmeted heads this force would look a bit more complete and/or awesome! Nice work Peanutsbbad,

Thanks guys, thats what I went for with these models, a stony, charcoaly paint scheme.

And with the sorcerer, the cold one is a tad too small, but I wasn't gonna let something as silly as porportions or scale ruin my modeling! I am above such petty concerns! muahahaha.... wait, what?

Also, today after classes I spent a few hours picking out the details, eyes, bones, and silver, so they are a little more colorful now.
Vindicator: the chain was a small silver chain from a necklace which was ruined, so I don't recomend going out and buying some for yourself.
I have alot of chains like that because whenever I would go to a garage sale, or rummage sale I would pick up cheep necklaces, thats your best bet.

Now that's ingenuity. Nice conversions. Isn't it a bit too dark though? They may be Chaos Marines, but a little color couldn't hurt.\\ That would be a Daemon Weapon, Drachn'yen, to be more specific.

I get that, but what did he use for the sword? It isnt the one that he comes with, thats for sure.
