The exarch ability "Shadowstrike" grants the entire unit Infiltrate (with the exeption of joined Autarchs).

If i where to deploy the Unit with a Farseer, and mount them all in a Wave Serpent, can the waveserpent infiltrate? Or held in reserve then outflank in the WS?


EDIT: another question, a regular SS model is Equiped with a Chainsword, a Pistol, and Mandiblasters. Would they get 1 base attack, 1 from a pistol, 1 from mandiblasters and 1 from CC weapon (and potentially one on a charge)?

The wave serp cannot infiltrate, as it is not part of a unit where a model has Shadowsrike (if it was, you would be forced to keep coherency with the rest of the unit and only be able to move 6" ) but you can outflank with them inside it, as per the outflank rule regarding Dedicated Transports. IGNORE ME I AM A MASSIVE TOOL!

Stalker is the other one. You are thinking of Shadowstrike.

You get:

1 Base + 1 Mandiblasters + 1 for 2CCW + 1 for charge

So, 4, not 5. The Exarch gets 5 on the charge if you don't upgrade his weapons.

The bonus for CCW requires 2, you don't get a bonus attack per CCW.

No. You don't get an extra attack from a pistol and an extra attack from a CCW. I suggest that you read P42.

1 base attack
+1 for two ccws
+1 for mandiblasters
(+1 for charging)
Total 3 (4 when charging)

No, you will not be able to outflank with either the Striking Scorpions or their transport if you have a Farseer joined to the squad. The reason is that Infiltrate is lost if a special character without the rule joins the unit. Shadowstrike can not affect a Farseer (see Eldar codex page 21), so the unit loses the Infiltrate it provides if the Farseer is joined to the unit. Using the infiltrate special deployment is covered in BRB on page 75, but as has been detailed can not be done with a Farseer present.

Mahtamori is correct in that Exarch powers can only affect Aspect Warriors, Exarchs and Autarchs, and the denial of the Autarch is inherent to the Shadowstrike ability.

So, sorry, no Farseers!
