I do not know about anyone else but I have acquired a bits box form another gamer and found some fun stuff. A looted baneblade. older style marines and some of the Last Chancers modules. I was kinda curious if any one has found anything cool in an aquried bits box

I found something awesome in my own bits box. Bear in mind, I had stopped playing over 4 years ago, and was in the process of building up my already large Salamanders force, and trying to choose a second army. I stopped playing because everyone I know who played had as well, or lived too far away.

I'd bought some Tyranids and was painting them, when I remembered I'd bought a Baneblade when they were released (mainly because I always wanted one, not because I had a Guard army). I was looking for the lascannon and heaby bolter turrets because they'd disappeared.

Then I spied my Baneblade box. It had come through a few moves with me, and each time I considered throwing it out or something. It was taped up so it would never fall open. I opened it. Yeah, I found my turrets.

Also a brand new Venerable Dreadnought, still in its packaging (missing, I think, an arm, which I can't remember what I did with). 4 Assault Terminators in various stages of completion (one has gone missing). An old Wraithlord, still in its packaging. A box of Cadians, 5 partially built and 1 partly, badly test painted. A box of Kasrkin, still in their packaging.

The downside? I wanted a Guard army, but I went with Tyranids because Guard are expensive. I had half a starter army, sitting there, all along.
