Hi all,

I've searched the forums and can't seem to find a clarification to 2 questions I have.

I understand vehicles roll a D6 to move through difficult terrain and a roll of 1 means they are immobilised. Infantry roll 2D6 and the highest determines their movement.

1. Do Dreadnought get to roll 2D6 when attempting to move through difficult terrain like infantry? If so, do they pick the highest to determine movement and only a double 1 means they are immobilised?
2. Ironclads have Move Through Cover, so does this mean they roll 3D6 and only a triple 1 means they are immobilised?

Thanks all.

1. Yes, they move like Infantry. They are never immobilised for moving through Difficult Terrain
2. Yes, they move 3D6 pick the highest, no immobilise

Walkers don't behave like other vehicles when moving through difficult terrain. They behave exactly like infantry. 2D6, take highest. No immobilization.

Hi,

Thanks for the comments, especially the very comprehensive and useful "read the rulebook".

My confusion seems to have stemmed from Dangerous/Difficult terrain, Page 72, "If Walkers fail a dangerous terrain test, they are immobilised."

Thanks all

Difficult terrain and dangerous terrain are different.

Most vehicles, with the exception of walkers, treat all difficult terrain as dangerous terrain.

But walkers don't so terrain that is classified as difficult is rolled/treated as difficult.

However, you can still have terrain that is classified as dangerous.

Now now, be nice.

You should have said:
Read the Rulebook, specifically page 14, "Moving through Difficult Terrain", Paragraph 2, Sentence 2, page 57 "Vehicles and Movement", "Terrain Effects", Paragraph 2, Sentences 2 and 3 and finally page 72, "Walkers", "Moving Walkers", Paragraph 3.
