So Im buying some ogryn tomorrow, and I just wanna know how many I should take? 6 sounds like a reasonable number, so I can shove em into a chimera and drive them across the board... What do you guys think?

Btw...2000 points

i love ogryns. I run them whenever i can.

Dont expect them to survive much. Their armor is crap and they will be shot to hell quickly. And they are pretty expensive with no upgrades available.

When i do run them in large fun games i toss a squad of 5 with yarrick in a chimera and rush them into CC quick as you can. They will kill a lot if they make it .

Oh I come from a land, from a faraway space
Where the caravan shuttles roam
Where the war is immense
And the fights are intense
It's barbaric, but hey, it's home

Imperium nights
Like Imperium days
More often than not
Are hotter than hot
In a lot of good ways

I'm about to start running ogryn next week, and I'm starting with 6. They have a strange points value that's hard to fit into stuff... unless you take 6, in which case they cost 250 points. It's almost like they were designed for taking 6.

I mean, I don't know if I'd take many less, or there's not enough survivability, and I don't know if I'd take more, due to problems with tarpitting. Of course, I'll know more for sure once I've fielded them some, but I don't think 6 is a terrible place to start...
