i dont have any guides i can reccomend, but i do have a few tips for playing as the marines and stealers
for marines
#1 - never deliberately engage in hand-to-hand (seen so many people do this - and fail)
#2 - always move towards your objective - if you get bogged down anywhere, youre almost guananteed a loss
#3 - overwatch and guard are your friends, dont forget them. overlapping OW is murder against stealers
for stealers
#1 - be sneaky - leave a few blips unrevealed until the marines are almost on top of em, leads to some very nasty surprises
#2 - always try to block the marines from their objective, run ahead of em or past em if you can
#3 - overwatch is not your friend, avoid it whenever possible Automatically Appended Next Post: thought of a couple more tips for the marines:
- mind the timer, dont let your opponent distract you with arguments or questions (my friends fav tactic)
- in missions with the librarian
- force barrier is probably his most potent power, block off the stealers attack path, or funnel them into your OW
- Prescience is pretty dependent on the situation, i rarely ever used it
- Psychic storm can be powerful but its a bit of a waste of psi points unless its used on a room packed iwth stealers
- using psi points to boost the combat score is really nice, but you can end up wasting alot of em
