hi guys im trying to find an american online store which sells warhammer 40k stuff. could anyone please suggest some stores?

Miniature Market is also 20% off and they have an excel sheet with pricing you can download, fill out, and send back to them for GW orders.

+1, TWS is highly recommended. Its a bit of a pain having to call them, but that is GW rules for all of North America...no one is allowed to sell in a "online shopping cart" set-up. You have to either call or email in your order.

You can also email The War Store with your order if you dont want to call it in.

I don't really see it as being a pain. The staff has always seemed quite knowledgeable about GW product. You don't need to worry about product codes or anything, as it seems they can just do a quick search by whatever product name you give. Every one of my phone orders has taken barely 5 minutes to complete.

@OP The WarStore is probably one of the most well known US online retailers, but there are a great deal of others that sell at a 20% discount as well. Just checking out the adds at the top of Dakka's site will usually give you a couple to choose from.

They typically have a much better bits selection than the warstore and their bits are ridiculously cheaper. Their kits are at the same 20% discount and if you spend over $75, shipping's free. You have to call in/email/fax orders in like The Warstore, so no real advantage there.

Bitz Barn is also a decent place.

Of course, I live about 20 minutes away from the Warstore. It's best to simply walk in and buy stuff right from them.

Saves so much on shipping costs.

Click on "Orks" then click which subcategory you're interested in... HQ/Troops/Elites/Heavy Support etc...

Warstore is one, and our very own EmpChild just opened a store called BattleRoad, he seems to have very good selection and prices, pm him and ask if you like

If you order any amount of bits, you can order online from the warstore. Don't want to have to call? Order a 50 cent bit.

Not to sound like HMBC or anything, but Maelstrom over in the UK ships free around the world.. and sometimes with the exchange rate it is cheaper to go that road..

Being an Australian it is actually cheaper to go this route (or through Waylandgames) rather than the Warstore. American prices are fine but the shipping is killer. Where as shipping from the UK actually isn't all that bad.

I personally use Maelstrom for anything GW related and currently buy in Australia for anything PP related (as some of our stores can match maelstrom pretty much) and have had no complaints with Maelstrom at all.

I use FRP for the online store, though I'm going to throw a bone at Neal at the War Store, too.

He's good people and knows his stuff.

I definitely get the feeling that the War Store is run by gamers, albeit gamers with business sense. The few times I've had to deal with them for problems it's been pretty cool. never ordered GW stuff from them, though.

(They carry lots of other great games, too.)

Like others have said go with Maelstrom seeing as you're in Australia. While it might seem great that our dollar is around 90ish US cents the price of shipping pretty much cancels it out making Maelstrom cheaper in the end. If you spend over 10 pounds at a time ($16.20 at the moment) shipping is free.

yeah i useually use maelstrom but 97 cents!!! i just thought it would be worth trying.

Is there any US or UK stores that still offer 25% off or more? I remember only a couple years ago I bought my Tyranids 30% off from bitkingdom. I never buy my models here in Canada, sure it's cheaper than Australia and the like, but still much more expensive than the US or UK.

You might be better off calling or emailing a few, and seeing if they'll make you a deal. I know the restrictions on US sales are tight, but I'm willing to bet that if you called Neal at the Warstore with a an order for a few hundred bucks, he'll work with you.

FRP is pretty good too. Biggest reason I personally prefer the war store is proximity to me. Im in FL, TWS is in NY and FRP is IN CA...that makes shipping to me 3 days from TWS and 5 from FRP. TWS also seems to get stuff out the door about a day faster. That means if I place an order monday morning Ill have my order from TWS by thursday, when with FRP it would be the next monday or tuesday.

Not sure how shipping is at other sites, but the one price shipping for everything at TWS is what makes it my goto for all wargaming needs.

Battle Foam has their Golden Boota day. On the 27th of every month everything is 25% off if your a Freeboota with 40K Radio. I placed one large order so far and everything went great. They carry GW and several other major lines.

Ive also used the War Store and Miniature Market with no issues.
