So, now that we have had a good look and discussion about the new Dark Eldar range, I want to put forth the question that must be buried deep within the minds of those who play either Dark Eldar (or intend to start, now that their model range is finally cool-looking) and those who play Chaos. Namely:

WHO'S MORE METAL? CHAOS OR DARK ELDAR?

Let the blazing flames of Hell and the screaming of a million souls cry out in their opinion on this now critical question!!!!

Well, if they were still making the sonic weaponry look like actual guitars, and not just some funky tubes, then maybe I'd agree with you Mel, but I'm not sold...

And what about the Khorne CSM? I mean, they're all about bloodshed and violence and skulls and did I mention BLOOD? And their god is a homonym for a metal(ish) band (Korn).

But then, the Dark Eldar are so spiky and evil and sadistic and also kinda effeminate... (a major element of Hair Metal and related Metal sub-genres)

Ok to keep it OT, Im going with the Dark Eldar. They are hardcore and eat peoples souls and live off of their pain.

DE are more goth than anything i'd say. Perhaps a bit emo too, but in a good way. They still like to cut themselves, but they're happy about it.

I say neither. The most Metal race is Tau.

Think about it, you literally mean nothing. Death is now day to day life. You have enemies on all sides.

You also have super-human angels who descend from space to save you= A manowar song.

Aren't Necrons the most metal, I mean they are robots afterall. They are closely followed by Chaos on the metal-meter. 'Cause Chaos dudes like spikes, skulls, and Noise.

I haf to side wif DA ORKS on dis 'un boyz.

That said, Chaos and DE are pretty metal, although I stand by the "Emperor's Children are Glam Rockers" idea.

It depends what kind of metal you are thinking about.
