I went to forgeworld a couple weeks ago and saw these Elysian Drop Troops. I instanly fell in love with them, and then saw the Death Korps for Krieg...I'm trying to decided which one would be a better pick. Tell me what you think.

Depends on your style of play. You like the swift Air-Cav style with plenty of Valks? Go for Elysians. You want strength in numbers, where you grind the enemy down under mass artillery and armour? Go for Death Korps. Either way, your wallet will soon hate you.

I have a secret message for you. Go to Amazon.com. And you will find wonders like a 15$ imperial guard squad. Hence why i have stopped buying GW stuff.

That is totally impossible; his wallet will be so malnourished that hate will not even be an option, his wallet will not have the energy to hate.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

What in the nine hells are you talking about, and what does that have to do with Elysians or Death Korps of Krieg?

Elysians are pretty cool. Valks as dedicated transports can make one heck of an aircav list although they can get blown to smithereens if not careful. Death Korps are awesome but a wee bit overused. No one paints them in french blue too. Only greys, greens, and browns. Still they looks really nice backed up by artillery out the wazoo

Don't forget, you can buy Elysians and use them as a footslogging infantry army with tanks. All of the infantry squads needed are there, plus a special weapons pack for making more special weapons guys. Nothing says you have to field them as Elysians.

This is what I actually intend to do. I love the Elysian models. The body armour is really cool, and their bullpup style lasguns are awesome. I just prefer, in a Guard army, to have heavy armour.

I might make them a tank heavy army, but doubt it. I might put in one or two Leman Russ' or Manticores. I'm already doing 3 tank heavy armies. Tanks are like crack to me.

If you don't want to end up with a very light wallet, Id'e suggest using them as Storm troopers or Vets

A spiritu dominatus,
Domine, libra nos,
From the lighting and the tempest,
Our Emperor, deliver us.
