Hey everyone im jeff from hanover pa originally from westminster md. I have been an avid painter of miniatures for over 20 years now and fell in love with 40k since i bought the first one in 85 which surprisingly i still have it. Im here just to check out other painters work and learn from other painters and hobbyist as well as to learn more about the marines and thier counterparts. If anyone close by ever wants to talk or get together and swap painting ideas or just to chat and paint let me know. If your a gamer and not a painter let me know would gladly help you out with the painting of your armies thanks for reading.

Welcome to dakka dakka. I'm also an avid painter (who now owns a case load of RT figures  ). Hope you can find a plentiful supply of interesting P&M threads to look at.
What minature is the one you bought in '85, the oldest one I own is a Champion of Khorne (c.1986).

a space marine sargeant which the molding of it is big and bulky and very undetailed compared to today but i like the bolter chainblade combo he is carrying
