Title says it all- which army is most fun to play against for you, and why?

NOTE: Please, no hating on the older/ newer spam/ any army, please! It's purely for fun! I will oson have a companion thread- the lesat favorite army. So bear with me!

My vote is Orks- because there is always something stupidly silly going down.

Tyranids are missing from the poll.

But anywho I love going up against nids. It's the only close combat based army that has yet to destroy my Tau in combat.

Black templar, because my nids have always won against them.

I love playing against CSM armies dedicated to korhne. especially when i use my guard. For him its "run as fast as you can and hope my platoon doesnt notice your berzerkers running up the side"

Tyranids for me also. Shame they're missing form the poll.

Imperial Guard, because they are ork food!

Where's the option for "anything besides Marines?" Not trying to hate, just tired of everyone except me always playing Marines. Of the four guys I play with, one doesn't play Marines.

Tyranids fo sho, nothing says sci-fi like gunning down ravenous aliens.

Anything with toughness 3 and with tanks, because that's what the Tau especially own at.

Tyranids. I mainly play necrons, and we always get comments from the fluff gurus in the store that go something like: "the battle of the two armies that never want to have anything to do with eachother".

Necrons.

I nearly said Orks, they're my favourite to play. So I chose Necrons because then it would be my favourite two armies on the battlefield. Necrons look so funky. Plus my Orks have a good chance of beating Necrons

Although to be honest I've not played against that many armies. I've never played Tyranids, IG, Sisters, Daemons, Dark Eldar. And I play Blood Angels for the first time this week.

Space marines because I have an anti armor list that abosutely owns any space marine army. But it is not very good against those space marines that are all marines. No instead its 5x better as plasma is a wonder!

Huh. Didn't expect as many IG as that showed up. Tey're the army I like least, so...

I like playing against Orks, they're the army that I lose against the most so I enjoy the challenge.

There's also something satisfying about seeing my opponent remove handfuls of them at a time when I open up on them with my bolters and flamers/Heavy Flamers!

Nids.

I love Alien. I love Starship Troopers. I love Starcraft. How can I not love fighting Nids?

I have no preference army wise. Whatever it is I can lose just as well! But I know two very nice people who play imperial guard whereas every other race has someone who is not so nice, so I voted imperial guard.

Agreed! Heh, I mean I'm not going to bash them here but it does get slightly boring to repeatedly crush Dreadnoughts with row after row of Deffgunz.

Anyway, I'd say... either Dark Eldar or Necrons. I voted for Necrons but Dark Eldar are a great match to play too, because due to them being so out of date, the player has to come up with ingenious stratagies to beat my Orks (and as a not so secret Dark Eldar fan eagerly eaiting for the new DE its great to check them out).

Spaze marines as I know what's coming.

Space marines because vindicators mash them. Having said that, I'll play anyone.

Pretty much anyone, I play nids and like playing the bad guy. Or. Slightly more bad guy.

Nids cause they have to wade through a torrent of fire to reach my gaurdsmen!
