I heard the guy was an absolute dick, inconsiderate, rude, and cruel to his first son... but because he could write songs were supposed to care?
I don't. ; )
We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

Perhaps instead of hearing you could do some research. Having a complicated relationship with ones family/children doesn't make someone terrible. If it did almost every human would not be worthy of note. Even Ghandi doesn't stand up to that kind of scrutiny.
Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.
Never cared for the Beatles, specially never cared for Lennon. Sure the Beatles mad e a few good songs but I can count on 1 hand, EASY, the songs I like from Lennon.

The King of the Hippies. My mother would disown me if she heard me say it, but I think he was kind of a jackass. He and Paul were a couple of histrionic drama queens.
I love the Beatles, though the only one of the four whose solo work is worth a damn is George, IMHO.

Haters gon' hate.
That is true if you don't know what a hippie is or was. They were out there to an extent, but really don't meet a great deal of the earmarks for true hippies. I think it was Harrison that described hippies at Haight-Ashbury as people who did nothing and smelled bad.

It's on the internet, good sir, so it is true.
Long hair, chick with bushy pits, always yammering about peace... Hippie.
