Hey,
has anyone been to the gamesworkshop store in NYC, i know it is small, but i was wondering how they fair with hosting games, and having space to play? I was there once like 6 years ago and cant remember much, i was just wondering because i was hoping to find a reliable place to go with some nice terrain and welcoming atmosphere to play some pick up games, i live in Central New Jersey so im like a 40 min drive to the city.

The one in the village? Yeah, it's a nice store, but there's better places to go. I only go there if I'm in the area. It's in a pretty nice area. Dunno why the heck GW bought a property there though...Probably cost them a fortune...

i liked the one in the village when i was a kid, bbut lately i almost never go there. It is just way too small and way too many kids there for me. The manager and staff is nice, and some of the regulars I know and play with, but they usually all play elsewhere.

Yea, i don't know how they could afford a building right there, thats expensive real estate.

Long Island and the closer part, Nassau County also has some decent locations as well.
