Greetings, all!
I am starting a small CSM force, primarily due to the cool Forge World Dreadnoughts. I would like to magnetize some of the arm options, and have done so with plastic in the past but not resin. Does anyone have experience doing this with the Forge World models? Do they take to drilling, and what is the best way to handle the magnet on the body (since the arms attach to an external post)?

I use these magnets.

My thanks for your help!

Yes I've done it using 4mm magnets.
I magnetised both the arm & the body.
First clip off the peg on the body.
Use a 1mm drill to create a guide hole for the 4mm hole.
I managed to do the 4mm hole with just holding the drill bit.
I used a wood bit as it has a point that finds the centre hole better than a steel bit.
You should be able to push in a magnet into the arm hole with out too much trouble. It may need a little enlarging. Do this with a needle file. In fact I found the the nurled end of my file worked really well for this.
As you have chosen thinner magnets than me (I used 4x4mm) you may have to pack the arm hole with GS, milliput or stacking 2 or more magnets.
Use superglue to glue it in place.
You can use steel washers to offset the arm if the magnets stick out after you've glued everything in place.
Be very careful about the polarity.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!
