Subject: Does anyone have the exact dimensions of Battlefoam Games Workshop sized foam?

It's listed as 13.5" x 10" on their web site which would be perfect. I'm hoping to fit it into a Pelican style case and it's going to be a tight fit. The only Games Workshop sized foam I have is some older red foam that's probably 10 years old and more like 14" x 10.5". It's too big to fit. Does anyone know the Battlefoam is a true 13.5 x 10 or is it oversize?

Thats for Battlefoam's Battlefoam trays, not Battlefoam's GW trays.

I would suggest sending an email to them to find out if they're exact sizes or have a little give.

Looking at the Storm im2600. It's a popular size for motorcycle luggage and i was hoping to upgrade the Givi knockoff I have right now with something that would work better and be useful for hauling figures. Interior size is 14" x 20" so it should theoretically be the perfect size for two stacks of foam. I suppose I'll shoot Battlefoam an email and see what they say.

OK, have a Battle Foam GW size. 13 7/16" x 10" The wider dimension is a little finiky since the bottom doesnt mate up exactly to the actual foam; the dimension on that is 13.5". Said bottom is also just a little narrower than the foam, so I just gave the foam measurement on that.
This jives up fairly well with the dimensions Battle Foam publishes of 13.5" x 10", however since you are looking at buying Pelican I thought you would want to make the "close enough" or "not close enough" call yourself.

I would think so myself. If I didn't have a hardcase solution for international travel already in place I would seriously look at this. It does have less capacity than a Battle Foam bag, however it is a toughasnails hardcase. I use these things all the time for shipping computers and sensors world-wide, and they are the final word in tough cases.
