Hi guys,

I figured some of you lot may be interested, so heres a quick plug for the new issue of Irregular Magazine, available to download now. Pls excuse the c&p from Boris' post on another forum, but heres a brief run down of the issue and the link to the mag. Featuring a MAS Discworld mini review and competition winning piece by your's truly , painting tips from MrScream (Dave Heathfield from 'EM), a sculpty tute by Build (Richard Sweet - Responsible for the awesome new AOW Lizardman), and reports from recent Games Day events among other great hobby related stuff.

Enjoy!

"The new Magic themed issue is available to download now - and features amongst other things contributions from some of your favourite PB'ers.

This issue heavily features tutorials and show reports, but we've also got gaming content and some great reviews, two short stories and an interview with Nick Kyme packed into 92 pages as well!

Tutorials include:

* Application of Paint by David Heathfield
* Sculpting robes using greenstuff by Build
* Flora basing by DarkLord and Boris
* Nanny Ogg - Step by Step by Dragonsreach
* Gradients by Boris

The results of our Skirmish painting competition are also published.
You can download as either a PDF or a zip file containing a PDF.

The fabulous cover art is by our Tuk Tuk comic artist, Will Kirkby.

Enjoy, and as always, please leave us feedback."

Hey Orki,

Thanks for the repost over here - I posted in News & Rumours, and for some reason it dropped like a stone :(

Cheers,

Dysartes

*EDIT*

OK, I take back the "dropped like a stone" comment - went back to it, and found three replies I hadn't seen

Hey, I took a quick look, I'll read more of it later. It seemed interesting but the pictures for the greenstuff tutorial were way too small to be useful. The pictures for how to paint the witch were big enough, I just think it's harder with greenstuff since everything is the same color.

If you have any issues with the PDF, try the zip - if that doesn't work, drop be a line and I'll go have a word with the lady in charge of the website.

Hi Dysartes

It downloaded ok, just took ages for the webpage to load

Like what I see, and have bookmarked the web.
Need to check if there is a way to subscribe.

My main issue is with the layout
Split columns mean having to scroll up and down to read a single page. No big deal but being a GOM who finds reading off screens uncomfortable anyway...

Content looks good from what I have seen so far.
Good quality pics too. Though it would be better to try and keep to a single style of illustration for the short story imho.
(I understand how that can be problematic)

Overall a definite
