Guard Heavy Weapon Crewman
|
If a transport with heavy weapons riding in it moves can the units shoot? I didn't think they could but my friend insists they can, who is correct?

Refer him to BRB page 66, third paragraph under "Fire Points";
"Models firing from a vehicle count as moving if the vehicle moves..."

I believe that's how it worked in old rules, so your friend may simply be confused.

Models with the Relentless rule can ofc still shoot, as long as their transport didn't move more than 6".

I had to look hard for it but I found it. We dont have a BRB, we have a smaller manual from a BR set we bought a while ago. Thanks for the help.

The rulebook that comes with the AOBR set is Word for word, page for page, paragraph to Paragraph IDENTICAL to the A4 monstrosity from pages 1 to 95, which is in fact the extent of the rules.
