It works the same as any other dice, and doesn't need to be separated out.

It is on topic, it is extending the premise: if you state it can avoid the "not enough power" result, then it is not a modifier to casting. If it is not a modifier to casting it can be added to Bound spells.

Disagreeing with one and agreeing with the other is inconsistent.

Off topic, and the reason I didn't answer this question in the other thread, because I knew exactly the logical leap you would immediately make.

I am not of the opinion that the bearer casts the spell. FR doesn't add to bound spells.

It isnt a logical leap, it is a simple conclusion.
If you play that the bearer casts the spell, then FR *does* add to the spell. If you play that the bearer doesnt cast the spell, then FR does not.

Simple as that.

You're right nos- if the item casts the spell, FR doesn't add. If the bearer casts the spell, it does...

And since everyone's agreed to disagree about who casts bound spells (or 4+ it) we don't need to spend the next page discussing it
