Subject: Drazhar's Darting Strike: Clarification?

So in the upcoming Dark Eldar codex, Drazhar has the ability to reposition himself at the beginning of any round of close combat, as long as he remains in the same combat. My questions are as follows:
-This would be done *after* Defenders react, correct?
-Say we have a multi-assault, where the following happens. Dark Eldar squad A assaults Ork units A and B. Dark Eldar squad B assaults Ork units B and C. If Drazhar assaulted Squad C independently of an Incubi unit, could he then basically teleport through multiple squads to reach Squad A, for it's treated in the same combat?

Presumably, athough it depends on the wording - if it mentions "before resolving attacks" then yes, this is after defenders react.
Yes, it is all ONE combat.

From what I gathered from you, that's exactly what he does. This might need someone to rule-lawyer so that the ability is actually useable: In the new CC phase models pile into combat, potentially allowing a power fister to sneak behind Drazhar and give him a serious headache. With this ability Drazhar can teleport far away from the Fister and wipe out the squad piecemeal (however it'd be pretty hard to do so unless the enemy squad was above 10 models, since the fister can still attack anyone that's touching a friendly model within 2 inches). If it was done before the Defenders react, it'd be pretty useless since it would defeat the point of actually moving around in combat.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do. |

It could also be used offensively, not merely to avoid a squad level powerfist.
One could also use it to relocate Drazhar to be in base with an enemy IC in order to dedicate all his attacks to that IC.

More questions:
Say Drazhar assaults an Ork mob. He stays in that combat. Then another Ork mob assaults him. So it's just Drazhar vs 2 units, and nobody else is contributing to the combat. How does this affect his ability to use Darting Strike, and combat res?
-Would he have to leap so that he remained in B2B with both units?
-If no, would this mean he would be forced to remain locked with an Independent Character and 2 Boyz (as technically, they count as separate units in assault?
-If yes, is the (now unengaged) 2nd mob still affected by Combat Res, and Pile-in, or can they consolidate?

I think maybe a better question might be:
With Vect, Malys, Baron, Duke, Urien, and a normal archon to choose from, I wonder who will take Drazhar?

I'd say because of said Special Ability, FNP, and generally handy statline. And from the current FAQ answers, Darting Leap will be like Hit and Run, an ability that will take practice to use but can have game-changing implications.
