This is the pitch to WB studios for a re-imagining of the Mortal Kombat universe, a short film by director Kevin Tancharoen. The trailer and pitch were removed from youtube in August, and an announcement of sorts is rumored.

Mortal Kombat should be left in the 90s... it was lame and attempting to fit thie universe into a movie (even a re-imagined universe) may not work a 3rd? time around.

Just make it 3D.... thats the answer for everything.....especially crap movies.

I saw that and thought it was quite awesome, but I doubt it will ever happen. :(
