Now i know i've probably already got the right answer for this but

Do Deff Dreads count as Dreadnoughts for the purpose of only being able to hit the front armour in close combat?

I wonder if there is another word for "thesaurus"

Both the DeffDread and the Dreadnoughts are walkers and follow the rules for walkers as written in the BRB

That means in CC they use their front armor yes

in before Gwar !

A simple yes would have sufficed but thanks for the detailed answer

Nothing "counts as dreadnaughts". There is no unit type "dreadnaughts", that's why you're not seeing the word dreadnaught in the Deff Dread's profile.

Both Deff Dreads and Dreadnaughts (and Kans, sentinels, etc) are type "Walker".

He didn't answer "yes" because that isn't the right answer. It has nothing to do with "counting as a dreadnought", it's a normal rule for all walkers, whether it be a Sentinel or a Warlord Titan.

I thought it was a good idea to let it go

Your initial question was fine.. It was the next responce that was rude and wrong. But hey this is the internet and many things are not meant as written (MAW)

That's not good enough. You must have Gwar-like rules knowledge at all times!

I kid, no bludgeoning was intended. And never apologise for asking an honest question

You! You with your silly As replacing your Os again!

There is no unit called a "Dreadnaught!"
