Here's a quick question:
Raiders are open-topped fast vehicles right?
Does that mean if it's loaded with say.. 10 Warriors with a Blaster and Splinter Cannon, that the Raider can move 12", shoot its Dark Lance and everyone inside can rapid fire into another unit separate from the Raider?

That indeed sounds correct

Except passengers can't fire if the vehicle moved over 6". The Raider itself benefits from being Fast, passengers don't.

Didn't see the whole 12" part, mmm 12" no 6" yes but then you can move 6 with the raider and fire all its weapons and fire all the pasengers weapons

Except, of course, that if the raider has moved at all the passengers count as moving. So the splinter cannon could fire in it's assault4 mode but not in it's heavy 6 mode.

This is actually the only thing that Phil Kelly didn't do in the new codex that I had hoped he would. Bringing back the Raider Drive-By would have made me so very happy. I had desperately hoped that Raiders would have had a special rule that allowed the passengers on board to fire even if the vehicle moved at cruising speed.
