Most of it is stuff like "FIND SOMETHING BLUE NOW!!! MAKE SURE IT'S A FLAT SURFACE, I'LL WAIT UNTIL YOU DO!!" then if you manage to find whatever it's looking for (probably best to buy a tray or display folder for each colour ), then you place the "trap" that comes with it and do some stupid mini-game (iirc one of them had to be tickled, another you threw invisible ham at or something).
Basically the game starts being repetitive after the first level. It was a great concept just executed rather poorly, which was disappointing. I'd rather the ability to use previously captured ones to battle the new ones instead of the mini-games.
