Hey all, heres another version of the list that I play tested against a foot guard army and tore it to pieces. Let me know what you think if there are any changes that need to be made.

Thats it. Most of the time utilizing the DoA rule will be beneficial. Turn 1, sternguard come in right next to the biggest tank they have and hopefully dump it. Against the aforementioned guard, this was a demolisher with pask. And they killed it. They paid for themselves and could die happy. Dante drops an honor guard unit right next to another large target and tries to drop that. Against the guard, they dumped the other demolisher nearby. The other honor guard come down somewhere that they can blow a vehicle or put 30 flamer hits on something. Everything else drops into a position to assault next turn, or even shoot their bolters at something. I say, the ability to switch between 4 meltas and 4 flamers on the honor guard units is really awesome. Especially with Dante making them able to drop as close as they want.

So, any thoughts or questions or recommendations?

I would give your honor guard only 1 weapon. Have one squad with meltas and one squad with flamers.

Find a way to put some SP's in there.

Oh sorry, yes the Honor Guard are on Jump Packs. The main anti armor are the honor guards and the Sternguard. Its enough to make most opponents really nervous. Dante can put 5 meltas within range. All the time. No change. Thats a go. The Stern guard have a better than average chance at landing in a good spot for vehicle destruction, terrain and enemy models permitting. The second Honor Guard unit benefits from Decent of Angels, so they have a pretty good chance of being in range to do some damage to a vehicle too. And there is the librarian for a back up AT. Sanguine Sword and/or blood lance can do something, if not destroy a vehicle.
