Fielding the death leaper allows the controlling player to nominate a character of the opposing army to take a -2 Ld modifier for the remainder of the game. My question, if you have not figured it out yet, is: does the Ld modifier apply when rolling for a psychic test?

I have a love /hate relationship with anything green.

The deathleaper is minus d3 to leadership. and psychic tests are made on the modified leadership value

Side note, it's as long as the Deathleeaper is alive, not the rest of the game. Big difference.

a fluff analogy for this would be the presence of the Deathleaper causing tension in the Psyker's mind, making concentrating for a psychic test all that much harder.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Luckily fluff doesn't actually matter when ti comes to rules.

Yes, it affects psychic tests since psychic tests are leadership tests.
