I have the paint scheme for my necrons (and it looks bad ass ) now i need the terrain. I was thinking of a swamp terrain (for the base of course) that would have mud and vines and really dark grass. Any suggestions? Any tips on modeling it? (because i don't thing they actually make swamp terrain)

Oh, and i also would like to incorperate swamp water

Also keep in mind that my "use greenstuff" skill is -5 (yes that was totally a DND reference)

Thanks in advance

Check out the Hive Fleet Moloch website. The guy has a gallery of Swampy Necrons under the "Prey Species" section if I remember correctly. His work is also sometimes featured in GW's publications.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

good idea for swamp terrain detail is if you get a decorators paste brush (a cheap one) pour a puddle of pva onto a sheet of clingfilm or plasti card then leave the brush on its bristles in the glue, allow it to dry peel off the dry pva from the clingfilm not the brush! and trim the bristles to the correct length 6-7mm with a pair of scissors and you have a stand of reeds, this process can be done 2-3 times per brush the more you do it the more clumped up the bristles get, once dry just use a spray can to paint them green/brown or whatever.
