Just a quick question, what is a chapter that Salamanders commonly fight along side, or have fought along side at one time or another?

I am adding some more forces to my salamanders list, but im sick of painting them green, so I am going to paint them different chapter colors. I would like it to be fluff accurate as much as possible tho.

Well I know they were at Helsreach with the Black Templars.

Well lets go through the list shall we.
Fought with Blood Angels in the 3rd war and the fourth war of Armageddon.
Also with the Relictors for a brief time.
Also fought with the Storm Crusaders for an Entire Campaign.
Fought with the Imperial Fists in the eye of terror.
Aided in defeating the Astral Claws in the Huron Rebellions
Yeah they have done alot.
Go onto lexicaum and you can find lots of cool stuff about the chapter.

All I know in regards to fluff, they've fought beside the Iron Hands, Raven Guard, Ultramarines, and Blood Angels.

For added fun, try teaming them up with a DIY chapter or an already existing chapter and make up your own canon.

Yeah you can use my chapter, the Storm Crusaders. Use the 25th Company, they cool .
But they are green :(
Or you can do the Imperial Fists. Or the Black Fists. (Black+Blue+Red)

I haven't read the codex for a while.
lets see the 2nd war happened a long time ago. And the third was a internation event across the globe, i think it is the foruth.

The first was against Chaos.
The second was aginst Orks (Feat. Ultramrines, Blood Angels and Salamanders... all of them as in 3 entire chapters)
And the Third was against Orks as well still sort of on-going though an assassination crusade has been launched againt Ghazkull (Sp?)

Yeah that Sounds about right. But the 3rd one ended i thought?

It's sort of stabilised with no side gaining or losing much territory so much so that it's more of a resume builder for SM.

Yeah except the Salamanders who have been owning. And doing so much cool stuff.

Like setting fire to things and also melting other things.

Also i remember reading that the SW and Salamander fought together on an ice world against Chaos.
