Just starting daemons and wondering if Bloodcrushers are considered cavalry?

The codex should tell you what unit type these are. Don't worry about what the model looks like, read the unit entry.

Infantry.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

What about a chariot? I want to throw skulltaker or a HOT on one. Does that change anything?

Ios

The codex will tell you exactly what type they are, or if they become a new type.

The entries for the respective chariots give you a very clear indication what unit type, if any, the units mounted on those steeds become. For example, the Khorne chariot doesn't contain any such change.

I really need to stay away from the 40K forums.

skull taker loses ic status on chariot only 1 wound difference so keep him on a crusher so he can run with other crushers or other infantry.tzeeentch goes on chariot same cost for a disk but you get 5 wounds.

Chariots make units into massive deathstars at the expense of them being unable to hide in units of cannon fodder. Take them when you know your opponent cant bring enough weapons to bear on the rider. Otherwise the standard steed is always better.

And as far as unit types go, unless it explicitly states a change, the unit remains Infantry (yes, even the Khorne Chariot).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Thanks, getting confused between fantasy and 40k. Modeling army for both game system via custom movement trays and magnets. I think I am just going to buy the models I want and figure a list later. Thanks for info.
