Put them on the square bases, no one should really care WHFB requires square bases and one of the rules for 40k states that it has to be placed on the base provided with it, therefore it's legal. RAI vs RAW arguments will likely ensue >_>

Seeing as one demands the shape to be square and the other demands the base that came with it I don't see any conflict. I would like to see someone grasp and straws and try to argue otherwise.

I would do, but i will be playing 40k a lot more than Fantasy, so would rather have them on circle bases, and then just put them in the movement trays
Do the circle bases sit on square ones easily?

Then just use the LoTR movement trays or some ones that another company makes that I can't remember right now.
Might have been Gale Force Nine or something like that, it was in the big argument thread about this.

use the large Chariot bases as a guide. That's what I plan on doing. They're exactly the same size as 5 of the square bases the lesser Daemons come on, which is also the size of a rank in WHFB. Just model something appropriate to let the round bases sit on them.
Personally though, I'd take the opportunity to paint up two sets of armies just because I can XD.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
