Hey Dakka...

Its been a LONG time since my last post, but I would like to try my hand at scratch building something.
Does anybody have templates or advice for making Imperial Navy stuff?
I would really like to see some Marauder Bomber templates, if they're out there....

... If you are scratch building there are no templates as such. Best thing you can do is make a card/paper net and then work from them (in fact do a search for papernet).

Try to get a box of bits as well; no point in spending hours making a cylinder when you could just use a drinks bottle.

Final do a search ... there are hundreds of tutorials here on dakka many of them are very detailed on making things.

Thanks for the advice. Is plasticard a good investment?

There ARE marauder templates out there. Several groups on yahoo have them (like BWC archives).

I don't believe you are supposed to ASK or OFFER them on the board though (in compliance with board rules).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Fair enough.. Are there any sets of lines on paper that look suspiciously like a resin set made by a certain English models company?
