Hey, I've always been a theoryhammer kind of guy, and have focused mainly on the gaming aspect of the game. For some of these reasons, I want to try and see if it's possible to convert the tyranids I have into Tzeentch daemons. I'd be going for an MSU type army with Tzeentch, and I own genestealers and a zoanthrope. Would it be possible to convert those into Tzeralds on chariots, flamers, pink horrors, or screamers?

Tyranids have a distinct design about them that separates even their claws from the aesthetic of Daemons. It all depends on how you go about it, but it should be possible to convert Genestealers into Horrors and Flamers. Zoanthropes will be harder since they have a bit of sci-fi biology about them that make them seem less random (which is the opposite of Tzeentchan themes).

Yeah, I see what you mean about the Zoanthropes, but how would I go about converting the stealers into horrors or flamers?

You can use green stuff on the Genestealers to block out the Tyranid details, and add beaks tentacles to make them look Horror-ish.

Just lob off the head and glue the mouth to the stealer's stomach. Horrors have an almost comical theme to them, and are generally characterized by random mutations and weird proportions.

take a look at the current Horror model and dryfit the stealer till your happy.

I don't know about the other daemons and such, but I find that Genestealers make pretty good Bloodletters...

However, mine took quite a bit of time, and Green Stuff. But I like the look, and I plan on simplifying the process to make it go faster.

Yeah, also considering making a pink Tyranids army that doubles as Slaanesh. I would just make a Slaanesh army, but I don't think my parents would be very happy with that

I'll keep you guys updated if I make any big changes.

I have been toying with the idea of making some Daemonettes, but I'm not a fan of the models available, so I might just make them from scratch. I don't like the claw look, so I'm thinking of just making some nekid chicks in high heels with swords. Not sure if I would be able to post nekid pics on Dakka, but I would certainly like them more!
