Its ironical that I can see the first two images but the computer is not showing the third.
(oh wait, I see the top part of a certain US President)
Never did like Citizen Kane though. It seemed violently overhyped by reviewers. Now African Queen, THERE's a movie!

It's from a movie called Idiocracy. It's about a dystopian future where humanity got stupid because smart people stopped having kids.
And, the joke is that the #1 show on TV in this future is called Ow! My Balls!!, which is nothing but clips of various ways that the star of the show gets hit in the groin by things.

Me thinks some people need to pull the stick out of thine asses and learn that having a stupid fun movie come out once every two or three years does not herald the fall of western society. I swear, I'd love to go back in time and burn the original negative of that fething Idiocracy movie just so I don't have to hear about how we're heading that way every time something funny but low brow comes out.
Yeah, they are getting long in the tooth. Knoxville himself looked a bit too old for it the last go around. Steve-O's reaction in the port-a-potty is pretty telling. Namely his response to "Are you ready?" His "No" sounded exactly like that of someone who can't believe they're still doing this gak for a living.

Some actors can never escape their fate.
Remember that television series where this guy was the captain of a ship and he went on to become a famous actor and was able to expand beyond his role. And there there was that actor who played his second in command and never seemed to evolve beyond that limited scope.
Yeah, that is what most of Jackass pretty much is.
Jonathan Frakes.

You seem to have trouble making the distinction between fun and stupid, so I don't see why people should take make stock in your opinion. I mean sure, you want to insult people who don't like what you do and that is almost always a winner, and I believe the first on Dale Carnegie's list. If you like it, like it, but it isn't really something that can be justified. It is supposed to appeal to the lowest common denominator and it does it's job so bully for them. My main issue is that none of the players are likable at all, with the exception of Knoxville. I wouldn't want to spend 5 minutes with almost any of them because of their personalities, let alone over an hour.

I think he meant stupid fun as in "stupid fun," with stupid being an adverb for silly and applying it to fun as another adjective before attaching it onto the noun.

Stevo did an interview recently, I think it was on G4's attack of the Show.
My impression was what has been said here. He seemed bored with the whole thing.
Again, it could be that this was just his 50th interview promoting the show and answering the same damn questions in the past 3 days. So I could be wrong.

I was just picking on him a little because he felt he had to be insulting because people weren't singing the praises of something he liked. It was supposed to be about how it wasn't "stupid fun' but just plain old 'stupid'. I had phrased it poorly, and was working on a rewrite when you went all grammar Nazi and avoided the main point of the passage so now we will let it stand as my inability to rewrite fast enough and your inability to focus on the subject being discussed.

In all fairness I should have said Grammar Police. Grammar Nazi is a bit childish but so ingrained in our internet lexicon.
Really this all stems from my frustration at not being able to find my picture that says "STOP LIKING THINGS I DON"T LIKE!", which seemed appropriate for the thread.

Been told you have a stick up your ass about something is about as mild as it gets on the internet. As for focusing on the subject matter at hand if you'd read what I wrote I don't have a problem with people not liking the movie. That's fine. Jackass isn't going to appeal to everyone. My gripe was Idiocracy being brought up any time something low brow gains even the slightest bit of popularity.
Ahtman wrote:You seem to have trouble making the distinction between fun and stupid, so I don't see why people should take make stock in your opinion.
And you seem to have difficulty understanding that watching someone do something stupid can be amusing. So I guess that leaves us in the position of no one taking either of our opinions seriously.
