Does anyone have any ideas on how to build a Stormraven?

I've seen some pictures of people putting valkyrie wings and rear stablizers on a landraider to have a more heavily armoured look

I would imagine you can do a google search for it... Ive seen the most common conversion involving a landraider and valkryie, but it doesnt look all that great. Im hoping GW releases one soon, but I think if they had it in their plans the best time would have been during their Spearhead push :(

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

Some people also use Rhinos as a cheaper alternative to the Land Raider components, but almost all current Stormravens are based off of the Valkryie. Personally I think the Rhino is more suited to the design, as the landraider chassis is far too wide for the nose of a flyer.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Hmm.... You could get valkyrie wings, and put them on a rhino, but sculpt/model a point on the front of the rhino.

this is the most common conversion. Only really requires one kit and minimal tools.
