So when is Spikey Bits going to start selling...bits? I didn't see anything in the webstore, except a few ebay entries.

Nice store and good luck to him. The store seems to be stocked with alot of good modeling supplies and what not. My only critique is that he's stocking the same things as everyone else with the same prices. There's really no need for me to go online for the same things I can get locally at the same price, cheaper if he charges shipping. I understand that not everyone gets a standing 20% off or has as wide a selection as I do, but those people are already ordering online, at discount, from other places.

Some quick thoughts since critiques without suggestions are gak:

-Paint scrapers are big with the sculptors for greenstuff work.
-Airbrushes are getting more attention in our hobby so paint and supplies for them would be good.
-Paint pens(?) for black lining and what not.

This was not intended as a slight against him, and I really do hope he is successful. I did like his site design and the GW items + shopping cart is a plus.

EDIT-

Correction to my comment about GW+ shopping cart is incorrect. When I made a selection I was taken to another page explaining GW's online cart policy.

I also noticed a XYZ on sprue option which netted a 30% discount. Definitely piqued my interest, but these need a description, picture or both of exactly what the consumer is getting at that big a discount. For example, if I bought a Tac squad on sprue at the 30% discount would I get the complete unboxed kit or would bits be missing? I'd assume missing bits, but which ones?

This is not any indication of my opinion. It's just something I wonder.

As I understood it, he sold of BWB when it got too hard to run, but stayed on with TWS as an employee, basically, to run/work in the BWB side.

*IF* that is true, I wonder what's different, now? Why would he open a second store, when he couldn't keep up with the first?

Again, no slight intended. I never had ANY reason to think ill of him. This is just my curiosity at work.

Just went to the site. I'm quite impressed. I'll probably be ordering Vallejo paints from them since I can't get em anywhere that I have looked in Arkansas.
