I know they aren't the same universes even, but which would you think Brettonians play style would transfer over to in the 40k universe, They are my favorite fantasy army and I'm really trying to get into 40k but I just keep randomly buying a few different units. And now I'm up to 2 different codex's... So just looking for some opinions.

Tau are fairly close backgroundwise. They're an upstart empire with high ideals and (Somewhat of) a dark secret.

Gameplaywise? No idea.

My Year Of Frugal Gaming blog

I've been playing Warhammer 40,000 since 1988, and am just coming back from a bit of a 10-year hiatus. And please excuse any wild accusations, hallucinations, or outright factual errors, as I am recovering from a serious head injury. And Warhammer 40,000 is part of my therapy. OH YEAH!

Imperial Guard...w/ lots of rough riders too...
But I like the White Scars (biker heavy) SMurfs too.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Orks!

Biker nobz = knights
Boyz = peasants, led by Nobz (empathy paladins)

What?

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.
