I remember seeing a larger sized Necron Lord for sale on Ebay a few years back, (it was about the size of the WHFB Nagash model). It was based on the "classic" Necron Lord from back in the 90s.

I think it was a custom sculpt. It had some Scarabs ("classic" Necron Scarabs) around the base. The sculptor's last name was of Hispanic origin, I believe.

I've never been so mad about not buying something on Ebay when I had the chance, and this is probably 5+ years from when it was posted.

Anyone know the model that I'm talking about?

Thanks - Mez

Whoa there pedro...major mind jog....

I have a funny feeling there was once a large scale Necron Lord. Fairly sure my mate had one?

Thinking some more, I'm convinced it was a Forgeworld statue range model. About 6-8" high.

Not sure about a large scale forgeworld necron, maybe it was like the lizardman temple guard they did. The clasic necron lord was standard GW size, though still big because of his tall helmet it was never Nagash size.

Thanks - that model is cool, but not the one I was looking for.

The one I am looking for was not based off the "new" Necron Lord, it was based off the old, classic one, (this model):

Thanks though!

Yeah, that is why I think the one I saw was a custom one. It was Nagash sized.
