I'm a bit new to W40k. I'm not totally clueless and have a good grasp on the rules I just dont have much playtime experience yet. Right now I'm at USAF tech school and dont have my army with me or anybody to play agianst but I do have my codex and the newest rulebook and lots of free time. This is one of my first army lists.
The armies I will most often will be facing are the variants of space marines. With Nurgle being a particular thorn in my side.
HQ: (239pts)
Shas'el
Airbursting Fragmentation
Plasma Rifle
Multitracker

Shas'vre X2
Plasma Rifle
Missile Pod
Multi tracker

Elites:
Stealth Team (137pts)
Team Leader
HW Drone controller
Marker Drone
Markerlight

Shas'ui
Drone Controller
Fusion blaster

Shas'ui

Crisis Team X2 (422pts)
Team Leader
HW drone controller
Gun Drones
Plasma Rifle
Missile Pod
Multitracker

Shas'ui x2
Plasma Rifle
Missle Pod
Multi Tracker

Heavy: (400pts)
Broadside Team x2
Team Leader
Advanced Stabilization
HW drone controller
Shield Drone x2

Shas'ui
Advanced Stabilization

Troops: (335 pts)

Fire Warrior Team
Team leader
Marker light
Bonding knife

Shas'la x9
Pulse Rifles

Devilfish
Disruption Pod

Firewarrior Team
Team Leader
Markerlight
Bonding knife

Shas'la x9

Kroot Team
20 kroot warriors

Fast Attack:
Pathfinder Team
Shas'la x6
Photon Grenades

Devilfish
Disruption pod

After all of this I have roughly 135 points left to spend and I'm not too sure where to put them. I can either have another team of pathfinders with devilfish, 2 more broadsides, 2 piranhas, A squad of gun drones or adding more drones to various units.
I'm not sure how this list is going to work and I dont really have any way to practice it, all I have is my codex, the latest rulebook and a chaos space marine codex.Does this list look like it would be any good against space marines? All of my expensive units such as crisis suits and tanks are all magentized so I can change anything. Any help is appreciated.

You may as well add the Target Array.

A mixed bag, which I found to be too dual in purpose. Little Stealth crews should be MarkerDroned to the hilt, and stay back, no Fusion Blasters. Full sized stealth units, of 6, should be all BC and dat's it.

GDs suck. Go with SDs with you want to increase the unit's survivability, because SDs gain T and Armor Save of the Suits. The GDs' carbines and crappy TL-BS aren't worth the ablative, the way an SD gets it done.

Add the BK.

Grenades. Don't bother. You want your PFs or FWs to fold and die that first assault; that way, the enemy unit will be in the open to counter fire.

One set of PFs is okay, although I'm considering two small sets.

Piranhas, with FBs, DisPods & Flechettes. TAs if you can afford 'em.

*SNGNGNgggg* No. In 4th edition, they were worth the cheap scoring unit, but no longer in 5e.

Last game though, on an improvised list, I had 50 odds points left over, and went ahead and used a 4 GD squadron ... deep struck them behind a Le Russ (little room to drift). Promptly gave it a carbine enema (destroyed) and then ran away to harass a heavy wep team. So, maybe I shouldn't na-say 'em.

Overall, an okay list. The glaring omission is no Hammerheads.

You got the basics in there. I'd use the left over points for a second squad of broadsides if your opponents play mechanised lists.
