Archon - agoniser, pistol, combat drugs, clone field, djinn blade (goes w/ bloodbrides)

10 incubi -klavex, raider + ff

9 bloodbrides inc syren + agoniser, raider + ff, 3 x wych weapons

10 wyches inc hekatrix + agoniser 2x wych weapons raider + ff

10 wyches inc hekatrix + agoniser 2x wych weapons raider + ff

9 warriors -blaster (needs 3 kills not 2 for 25% and has a blaster, scoring unit, and cheap!)

10 scourges 4 x splinter cannons

Ravager + ff

Ravager + ff

5 beastmasters inc 1/agoniser
6 razorwing flocks
10 Chimeria

1998 pts.

Basically it's very fast, the beast pack is resilient and has rending, not sure on the 2 units of wych troops, might be better with some scoring warriors although both are as about as resilient as each other.

I really like how the army would look, and its great to see more diversity than your standard raider spam. As an opponent of said list I would find it very enjoyable, so you've already won half your battle. Major props for the Blood Brides and Incubi, those will both be excellent looking units.

What is the rational behind the Blaster in the warriors instead of a Lance? I can still see transports being the bane of this type of list, as you need to get to the gooey things inside. It may help to have a scoring unit in your backfield as well.

True - that is quite mutable. But if they need to advance to claim an objective they can fire on the move although I see your point. I might do that - it's what I used to do with the old DE. BB will basically be an all female wych squad with lots of spiky bits I imagine. Also the 'archon' is really going to be an 'archite' (succubus rules are rubbish!) and am going to use lelith hesperax mini with some of the new wych weapons and the whip like agoniser

This list has nowhere near enough anti tank ability I'm afraid. You have 10 Dark Lances, a Blaster and the Beast Pack in combat to try and deal with armour, and it won't be nearly enough (1 round of shooting and you lose 6 of them easily). You have massively overloaded on infantry killing units, particularly the expensive ones like Incubi and Scourges. If you are taking troops which can happily deal with infantry then your elites really need to be able to deal with armour to give you a balanced list.

At the very least I would add Blaster Pistols and Haywire Grenades to the Wyches so they can threaten vehicles. Then drop either the Incubi or the Scourges and use the points to boost your anti tank firepower.

I don't think you need to drop the Incubi entirely, but I do think that 10 with the Klaivex is overkill. That unit, on the charge, should kill 11 MEqs pretty regularly.

Against MEq armies, that leaves a 250 point unit (not counting the Raider) to be shot off the board the next turn. Against a horde unit, 10 incubi unsupported will probably get dragged down eventually (like against a mob of 30 orks).

I think a unit of 5 including a Klaivex, costing less than 150 without the transport, will be sufficient for most cases. That unit should kill around 6 MEq on the charge, and get rid of the rest on the subsequent turn.

This would free up some points for some more anti-tank.

I could take some trueborn with lances and camp them to snipe vehicles instead of 5 incubi

Losing 5 Incubi also saves enough points to get a third Ravager, if you wanted.

but 3 of the same unit is a bit boring. I might take a flyer type if I can be bothered to convert one. I will have to try things of course. Also where I play we don't do mega anti-tank
