Do the S6 AP2 hits from the mawlocs Deepstrike rule count as Monsterous Creature attacks?

No. AP values are listed when the attack in question is shooting. I'm guessing youre asking this because you want to know if the hits will give 2D6 + S against vehicles?

If so, then you wouldn't get this, unless something specifically in the Mawloc's entry allows this.

No, I was under the impression that Monsterous Creature attacks Insta death'd People, but after reading the Monsterous Creature entry in the BRB, it doesn't work that way.

All MCs do is always ignore armour saves in CC, and get extra penetration dice against (most) vehicles.

But no Insta-gibbing 2w t4 (like a Crisis suit or a Broadside for example)? It's still got to inflict 2 wounds?

Not innately (i.e. just being a MC) no - it WOULD if it were S8+ though.

Instant Death applies when you are S>=2T, or if you have a rule that inflicts ID such as Force Weapons. Monstrous Creatures attacks in CC ignore armour, regardless of what weapon they have (or dont have) however they dont autaomtically cause instant death.

So a Mawloc, S6, would ID an Eldar Farseer if the farseer failed a single save, but a marine Captain would only lose 1 wound. A carnifex would ID a captain however as it is S9, sometimes S10 on the charge.
