Impressive. Most Impressive. The full army picture is really striking. If you do indeed choose to repaint them is there any kind of colour scheme you have in mind?

Absolutely beautiful. In addition, nice to see a full Arbites Army. If I had the money and space that would be my next topic, for now, the Necromunda gang will have to do. Are you using BOLs rulebook? Or counts as IG/Inquisition?

That's why all the boltgun guys have riot shields - to represent their additional point of save. I don't use the Act's of Faith rules. I then take inquisitors with 3 crusades as my 'Shock Maul and Supression Shield' squads. Medium of Death wrote:Impressive. Most Impressive. The full army picture is really striking. If you do indeed choose to repaint them is there any kind of colour scheme you have in mind? Thanks - I think they'll be a similar scheme - just with more detail. I haven't got the stomach to completely strip and repaint 100 identical Arbites. I'd take the opportunity to make some of the conversions a lot better, put highlights on the red areas, more detail on the flesh parts overall, put in some brown leathers for coats, repaint and wash the insignia and heraldry, replace the silver parts with NMM, and rebase them to something simpler.

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal. |

Good work. Can you tell us about putting together your repressor? I've heard horrors about the kit and was wondering if you had any insight as to it's construction.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

Orinoco wrote:Good work. Can you tell us about putting together your repressor? I've heard horrors about the kit and was wondering if you had any insight as to it's construction. I didn't have much trouble actually. I think the problem is that the repressor kit is mainly two huge pieces - you get the whole riot shield as one piece and the whole top/back section as one piece, so if one of those is miscast or warped then you're going to have a nightmare. I had one warped riot shield corner which wasn't too much trouble, but other than and the usual GS filling, my kits were fine! warboss wrote:looks good! i thought you were just lampooning a certain someone with your "arbites are the bestest eVAR army and must haz their own codex" post but i guess you really do like them. Oh I was definitely taking the piss - I wouldn't really expect there to be any mention of Arbites in the new Inquisition codices....

Thanks - I did have a vindicare, converted from one of the 1ed Assasins (like the Culexus in that photo). I just can't seem to find him anywhere. I use my Arbites sniper as a Vindicare, so I haven't used the real guy in a game for a while.... :/

I know what you mean about the Repressors, my first one was so warped I had to moan and moan to get a replacement, then someone bought the wrecked one for a project anyway.
I presume you've seen this: http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2008/11/play-aid-adeptus-arbites-mini-dex-from.html It's quite good for fluffy armies.

The white pavises are crying out for some emblem.
Is there a reason why Arbites wouldn't have an eagle or something on their shields?
