So I expanded my Khador army after getting back into WM MK2 a few weeks ago. I picked up the Great Bears, full Winterguard unit + UA + WA + Joe and I got some casters I've never used before with Strakkov and eSorcha.

Tonight I tried this 35 point list to prepare for a small tourney on Sunday

And HOLY CRAP is it effective! I played against a lowish model count Hordes list with Kromac twice. The game ended on turn 2 both times. In the second game I killed all of his beasts in the second turn and then the ranged attacks on Kromac did so much damage after the double armor it was ridiculous.

Granted this is probably old knowledge for you guys who've been playing a lot of MK2 since it's been out, but for my first time using them - it was absolutely crazy. Killing guys at ranged just opens up a whole new world of beat face for Khador.

Winterguard have always been kind of gross. The CRA could reach disgusting levels with
her feat turn. Add the UA and Kovnik Jozef and you have an evil combination of disgustingness.

Wait till he finds epic Irusk...

Oh I've used eIrusk for quite a while in MK1 - he was a beast and I expect him to be just as much of one in MK2. I just haven't gotten around to him yet, let alone with big units like the Winterguard + Trimmings.

So...what do we do to kill it?
I'm new to this, so have not been on the receiving end yet.

One thing I'm thinking of is getting Parasite on them with pGaspy and then feating...
Arm 10 vs. Pow 5.
But they are likely to have Joe giving them tough.
And I'll prob. need to boost to hit as well if the UA is baught and the bob and weave.

you would have to be very close to catch 15 men in your control area. I think a few survivers would be guaranteed and they would be able to kill gaspy if need be (unless camping the focus gotten from feat. That would be a wase though...

I tink you are better of shelling them with range from a bloat or just running up with satyxis or somesuch. They are good, but not impossible to take down in combat. Furthermore they have relative short range on their guns, so they have to get close to use them.

I know it is not easy, as I have faced them, but it is doable.

AoE's would do damage. Target something in the middle of the "blog" since you'll likely miss, but the scatter probably will kill more guys than hitting directly.
