I recently used this list in an annihilation game and I want to know what others think about it so lets hear it. (Obviously its not meant for an objective game)

HQ-Company Command Squad w/ Medi-pack and Auto cannon 90pts

Troops- Veteran squad w/ 2 grenade launchers 80pts

Troops- Veteran squad w/ 1 grenade launcher 70pts

Heavy Support- Leman Russ squadron
battle tank w/ Lascannon and heavy Bolter sponsons 185pts
Vanquisher w/ Pask and lascannon 215pts

Are you looking for the ultimate 1k KP list? If so, you can make a guard list at this points level that only gives away 3.

Otherwise, yeah, this list isn't particularly viable due to the invariable problems it would have on objectives games.

Yeah its meant as a non competitive list and I'm just trying to make a list that is enjoyable to play and is generally successful, obviously i wouldn't take this for objective. I'm not really trying to cut down on kill points either as the people I'm playing against aren't really using kill points all the time and building a list based on how many killpoints are in the list just feels kind of cheap

personally, i'd be more inclined to go with 2 regular russes and a Demolisher for the same price.

Eh, it would probably work against most armies at 1000 points, simply because it would be hard to kill that much AV14, but if someone brings enough melta/lances or whatever then i think they would blow them up in a few turns, and then kill your squishy infantry units.

Personally think it is better to make one all-comers style list that can do both objectives and kill point missions, and that if anything, making a list only to use in KP games would make me feel "kind of cheap".
