I haven't been playing Tau really so far except for couple combat patrols and for one 700pts game, so this is my first attempt to build a regular sized Tau force.

HQ
Shas'o
-Fusion blaster, Cyclic Ion blaster, Shield generator, Multi-tracker, Shield drone

Elite
Stealth Team
-2 Shas'ui, Burst Cannon, Stealthfield generator, Targeting array
-Shas'vre, Fusion blaster, Stealthfield generator, Targeting array, bonding knife, Marker drone

Crisis Team
-Shas'ui, Plasmarifle, Missilepod, multi-tracker
-Shas'vre, Twin-linked plasmarifle, missilepod, multi-tracker

Troops
Firewarriors
-11 Shas'la, pulse rifle
-Shas'ui, pulse rifle, bonding knife

Devilfish
-Burst cannon, smart missile system, disruption pod, multitracker, targeting array

Firewarriors
-11 Shas'la, pulse rifle
-Shas'ui, pulse rifle, bonding knife

Devilfish
-Burst Cannon, 2 gun drones, disruption pod

Kroots
-11 Kroot, kroot rifle, 6+ armor
-1 kroot shaper, pulse rifle, 6+ armor

Heavy Support
Sniper Team
-Spotter, Networked Markerlight, pulse pistol, targeting array, stealthfield generator
-3 sniper drone, rail rifle, targeting array, stealthfield generator, target lock

Broadsides
-Shas'ui, Twin-linked railgun, smart missile system, advanced stabilisation system
-Shas'vre, Twin-linked railgun, smart missile system, advanced stabilisation system, multitracker, shield drone, bonding knife

Hammerhead
-Railgun, burst cannons, targeting array, disruption pod, target lock

Hopefully I'm not making lots of mistakes so far.
Good advice is always appreciated.

I'm not an expert, but i would change the following:

-Shas'o load out....Do fusion blaster and ion blaster go together? I believe their are certain builds for battlesuits that are mean't to be best, only one i remember is TL missile pods, maybe plasma and missile pod.

-Stealth Team, you haven't put down points cost, but i'm betting that unit is around 150 points? which i think is a huge waste i think...
Your crisis team, can't have TL plasma and missile pod?

Now i like Fire Warriors, but in lots of Tau lists i have seen, their is only one squad of 6.....
I think you could do better, but keeping the Devilfish out, if you are going to have more than 6 fire warriors (which i think you should, but most tau players seem to disagree) i think 3 squads of 12, in your back line, with a squad of two of kroot maybe to protect them (or to outflank)
Pathfinders are another option if you have spare points...

Sniper team....I don't think these work, unfortunately snipers of any kind seem to be a fail, and again without your points cost, i can't remember how many points these are, but unless they are 50, they are too much, plus heavy/elite are your best areas, so taking snipers instead of broadsides/hammerhead is wrong i think...

What i would do (no points, this might be over?)

Shas'o (Missile pod, Plasma, and what ever upgrades he needs)

2x battlesuits (with missile and plasma, maybe with other upgrades, like multi-tracker)
2x Battlesuits (same as above)
maybe a third squad....(thats the competitive way i believe...if Tau can be competitive )

12 Fire warriors (shas'ui if you have points)
12 fire warriors (^^)
12 fire warriors (^^)
Some kroot

Maybe pathfinders

Hammerhead
Hammerhead
2 Broadsides....

That probably goes horribly over points, but i believe that as a guideline, that will get you better results....

I agree with rodgers on the commander. CIB and Fusion blaster do not go in the least together.

I would also get rid of your stealth team, they are not great at all, and are way overpriced.

Your crisis suit team is fine, except that you can't fire TL and not TL weapon systems together using a MT. A Multi-Tracker lets you fire two battlesuit weapon systems, and a TL weapon system counts as two battlesuit weapon systems, thus you can't fire a TL system and another system together.

Your fire warriors look fine.

I would get rid of the 6+ save on your kroot. It is pointless. Just get rid of the saves and get two more kroot.

The broadsides look fine, except for the Multi-Tracker... if you really want to use MT and TL weapon systems, I would talk with your gaming group to see if they would allow it. RAI is completely unclear, but RAW is clear in saying that you can't fire 2 TL Weapon Systems with it.

Your hammerhead looks fine, but I would put a Multi-Tracker on it. They come in handy.

Thanks for the hints.
I'll change the stealth suits when i get new models and commander will change his fusion blaster in plasma rifle.

About multi-tracker not working with twin-linked guns? That's just silly. That would also mean that twin-linked guns cannot be fired without multi-tracker? :S
Codex example of broadside does contain a multi-tracker tho..
Guess I need to reread the codex for that part...

TL Weapons can be fired without multi-trackers. I wish I could find the thread this was discussed on.

To the best of my knowledge the final verdict was that:

TL without multi trackers = ok
TL weapons w/ other weapons with multi trackers = doesn't work
