Theres a lot to be changed, but the most important is to replace the raiders on the Grotesques and the Incubi with venoms, they are 5 points cheaper and have built in flickerfields but have no lance, instead they got a splinter cannon and a splinter rifle

Nope, don't wanna put the Grotesques into a transport that cannot also carry an Independent Character. If you start the game off without an IC with the Grotesques, you risk rolling that ugly "1" and having them detonate all over your own army.

Hmm so I'll change the Incubi and Wych Raiders to Venoms.

Anyone have anything else to say? I don't want the thread to die after only a couple of responses.

Grotesques don't even have the option to take a Venom so the discussion there is moot.

As far as actual critiquing goes, I'd axe the incubi. Three in a venom isn't going to go a long way. Sure they have a 3+ save, but at T3 and with only three of them, they're easy toast. Here's what we can do with those leftover points:

The wyches fall into a similar problem with low toughness and almost no armor to speak of. I'd recommend putting most of those points into the wyches. That lets you increase the squad to 10, add another wych weapon, upgrade one to a hekatrix, and give that hekatrix an agoniser. Now we have a badass assaulty squad.

Even after all that, you still have enough points left over to get all the warriors' raiders splinter racks, and then just for kicks get some combat drugs for the archon.

For the bomber I like the necrotoxin missiles most of all. The shatterfield ones are good too, though. I'm not sure if this is worth the hefty points cost, but I'd be interested in seeing how impactful it would be to just shoot four large blasts on one squad right on turn 1.

I don't really get the warrior squad with a dark lance. Heavy weapons in transports are usually not that helpful. I'm honestly not a big fan of any of your warrior squad setups. Here's what I'm looking at in my list:

10x kabalite warriors w/ splinter cannon
Raider w/ splinter racks and flickerfield

In rapid fire range this gives me 22 shots at BS4 and 4+ poison to wound, and 18 of them are twin-linked. That's some legit dakka: 3.11 dead marines, 9.33 dead guardsmen if they aren't in cover. Two rounds of that will very probably kill any monstrous creature in the game.

The Incubi were meant to be a bodyguard unit for the Archon, but I can see how they might be a white elephant in this case, so I'll drop them.

I've also been thinking of swapping the Archon out for a Succubus. Their stats are quite similar, but the Succubus has more access to the juicy Arcane Wargear. So what if I go with your idea and lose the Incubi and Archon, to take a Succubus and an unit of bodyguard Wyches?
