The D6G team can hardly contain their excitment as they chat with one of the most prolific and well known authors of modern Sci-fi: David Weber. He even joins the guys for Rapid Fire!

Later, it's time to visit many of the games that have been discussed on the show and talk strategies. How do the guys approach some of their favorite games?

All that and our other not-too-horrible segments including:

- The Hollywood Minute

- Total Fan Girl

- Do You Ever Notice

- & More

I'm looking forward to listening to the David Weber interview. Has the D6 Gen considered playing and/or reviewing the space combat game in the Honorverse from Ad Astra games? I've been mildly interested in it but from what I've read it sounds like it could be up there at a Star Fleet Battles level of complexity...and that has me a bit afraid.

I would love to hear what the D6G make of SITS, considering their views on Twilight Imperium!

SITS is far beyond SFB in complexity. It works in three dimensions, with blocks to handle rotation and bearing, with super-detailed (and complex) movement and firing processes (thinking about which aspect of the target will be presented to you as the ship rotates and moves....). A game with two ships a side can take longer than a couple of hours.

Yeah, between the math involved with game play (not my strong suite), and the fact that the ships, although great in narrative, aren't that dramatic and visually interesting as models.

Although it sounds like Iain knows enough to cover it in Nuthsell!

Far-stretching, endless Time
Brings forth all hidden things,
And buries that which once did shine.
The firm resolve falters, the sacred oath is shattered;
And let none say, "It cannot happen here".

Great episode guys. Really liked the strategy discussion! I would love to hear more of that.

Also, TFG's segment is really getting good. I also thought her clarification of the "Han Shot First" background was very entertaining. I like the idea that she is steadfastly monitoring the hobby to make sure it evolves positively and with proper respect to its history.

I cant believe I am writing this, but again- great job by Raef! He was engaged, lively and thoughtful. I cant believe I just said that. Nice work! Thatks to episode 66, I hate HD less than EVER!
Good thing he's still trying to sell that bizarre play by podcast thing... that way I know its still him and not a replacement.

Should we send a search party over to Wales to find Owen? We miss him.

Love the show. Please keep up the great work!
