Hi all, URGENT QUESTION

Can someone tell me if the 6" ranged ST6 attacks of the Mycetic Spores are considered as a shooting action or just a CC attack maded by tentacles?

In the second case they must be considered as MC CC attacks? With 2D6 for the armor on vehicles?

Shooting. CC attacks arent known for having a strength and AP value.

Or 6" range.

In fairness, they do generally have a strength value, though rarely listed seperately from the model, it is not unheard of. And Boarding Planks (at least) can add range to a CC attack.

But. . .yea.

Still possible though. Deep strike your zoans right behind a tank and resolve the spore shooting first. Six S6 on rear armor is still pretty good. 4s to glance and penns 1/3 of the time. Then you can use the blast psychic power to mop up the clustered troops afterward. Or the tank if you fail.
